An identifier derived from your device, your app version, device model and interface language. We also record which stations you play and for how long, so the app can suggest stations you may like. We never ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number, and the app does not use GPS or any precise location.
The app asks Android for access to the microphone for one reason only: to draw the sound you are already hearing. The equalizer bars and the living background are built from the audio the app itself plays — the microphone is not listened to, nothing is recorded, and no audio ever leaves your device. You may refuse the permission: the app keeps working, only the visual effects stand still.
Your IP address reaches our server with every request, as it does with any internet service. We use it only to determine which country you are connecting from, and we store that country so the app can offer you local stations. We do not keep a history of your IP addresses.
When you ask the assistant to find stations, what you describe is used to choose matching stations for that request. What you tell the assistant about yourself is never saved together with your device identifier on our server. We keep only anonymous totals, such as how many requests asked for a particular mood, and those totals cannot be traced back to you or to any individual user.
If you buy a VIP subscription, Google Play handles the payment and we never see your card or billing details. We store the purchase identifier that Google issues so we can check whether your subscription is still active, and we send that identifier back to Google to verify it. This is the only situation in which any of your data is passed to another company.
To make the app work, to keep your VIP status and referral rewards correct, and to improve performance and recommendations. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Data is stored on our own server in Germany (Hetzner). Usage data is kept for up to 12 months and is then deleted automatically.
You may ask us to delete everything associated with your device. Visit our contact page and we will process the request within 30 days.
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change is reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document, and continued use of the app after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
